Description
Makaiza Farms Limited is hiring an experienced and strategic Crushing Plant Manager to lead our Crushing Department, the critical first stage of our palm kernel processing operation. This role oversees both production and maintenance team assigned to the Crushing department, and plays a strategic role in driving operational excellence, safety, and innovation in line with our company's growth objective.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of the Crushing Plant, ensuring optimal production of CPKO.
- Manage production and assigned maintenance units to achieve high uptime, consistent throughput, and minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Warehouse, and Quality teams to align raw material supply with production targets.
- Manage budgets, cost control, and resource allocation for crushing operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Agricultural Engineering,, or related field.
- Minimum of 8-12 years in crushing plant (kernel nuts, soya beans, or other related nuts) with at least 5 years in supervisory or managerial role.
- Proven expertise in production planning, maintenance management, and process optimization.
- Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment with strict quality controls.
