Description

We are seeking an exceptional Head of Production to oversee the entire production value chain,  from warehouse and crushing plant to refinery/fractionation, solvent extraction, maintenance, and quality control. This strategic role is responsible for optimizing production capacity, quality, and cost efficiency while driving innovation, compliance, and people development across all production units.

 

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership for all production units including Warehouse, Crushing Plant, Refinery, Solvent Extraction, and Quality Control.
  • Develop and implement production strategies aligned with corporate goals for output, quality, cost, and safety.
  • Ensure synergy and smooth flow of operations across multiple units to deliver high quality vegetable oil, and by-products.
  • Oversee planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for all production departments.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and statutory regulations across all production plants.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
  • Master's degree or MBA is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 12-15 years in progressive experience in a large scale agro-processing (specifically olein production) with at least 5 years in senior production leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in end-to-end production management (warehouse, crushing, maintenance, refinery, quality control)
  • Strong background in capacity utilization, process improvement, and cost management.
  • In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance
