Makaiza Farms Limited is hiring a strategic Facility Manager to oversee the planning, operation, and optimization of our buildings, infrastructure, and physical workplace. Reporting directly to the Head of HR, this role ensures our work environment promotes safety, efficiency, and employee well-being. The ideal candidate will bring both operational expertise and strategic foresight to help shape a workplace that supports our people and organizational goals
- Lead the daily operation and maintenance of buildings, utilities, and equipment.
- Manage vendor contracts and service providers (cleaning, security, repairs).
- Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and legal standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and manage risk proactively.
- Collaborate with HR to enhance the employee experience through workplace design and services.
- Develop and manage facility budgets and improvement projects
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Building Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in facility/property management with leadership experience.
- Strong budgeting, vendor, and project management skills.
- Strategic thinking and ability to align facility management with HR and business objectives
